Privacy Policy – iBerry Hotel Manager

iBerry Hotel Manager ("the app") is published by IBERRY WiFi Corporation, Chandigarh, India ("iBerry", "we"). The app is a business tool for hotels that use iBerry's managed WiFi service. It lets hotel owners and front-desk staff manage their hotel's guest WiFi. This policy explains what information the app handles and why.

Who can use the app

The app is only for staff of hotels that are iBerry customers. You need a username and password issued by your hotel or by iBerry. The app does not let anyone create an account.

Information the app handles

• Your login details. Your username and password are sent to the iBerry server to sign you in. The password is not stored on the phone. After sign-in, the phone keeps a sign-in token in the device's encrypted secure storage so you stay logged in.
• Hotel guest details you enter. When staff issue WiFi access, they may enter a guest's room number, name and mobile number. These are sent to the hotel's iBerry account so the guest can get WiFi access, and the guest may receive their WiFi login by SMS.
• Hotel network information. The app shows the hotel's router status, internet line status, connected devices and WiFi coupons. This comes from the hotel's own iBerry account.

What we do not do

• We do not show ads and do not use advertising or analytics trackers.
• We do not sell or rent any information.
• The app does not access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone or location.

How information is protected and shared

All communication between the app and the iBerry server is encrypted with HTTPS. Information is shared only as needed to provide the service: with the hotel that owns the account, and with our SMS provider when a guest's WiFi login is sent by text message. We may disclose information where Indian law requires it. For example, guest WiFi access logs are kept as required by Indian telecom regulations.

Data retention and deletion

Guest and access records are kept for the period required by law and by the hotel's service agreement with iBerry. Signing out of the app removes the sign-in token from your phone. Uninstalling the app removes everything the app stored on the phone. To ask for your staff account or related data to be deleted, contact your hotel owner or write to us at the address below.

Children

The app is a business tool for hotel staff and is not directed at children.

Changes

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
